About this event
Join us
Join us for a learning experience that explores the dynamics of collaboration, drawing on research-backed Cobeo Tools and facilitated by Dr. Maya Haviland, inventor of Cobeo and Research Lead in the Scaffolding Cultural Co-Creativity Project, and Sejul Malde, Collaborative Research Initiatives Manager, both at the Australian National University (ANU).
This workshop is delivered by Cobeo, an impact enterprise of the Australian National University, in partnership with QAGMOA and AMaGA Queensland. Subsidised places are supported by the Collaborative Cultures Program of the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences and AMaGA Queensland.
Why Collaboration Matters
Effective collaboration is essential for addressing complex social, economic, and environmental challenges. However, collaboration can consume valuable resources and sometimes reinforce existing problems, particularly for vulnerable communities.
These workshops focus on the human and relational aspects of collaboration. The Cobeo approach facilitates inclusive co-creation processes and provides frameworks for navigating difficult dynamics.
Participants develop foundational skills and knowledge to:
Work more effectively across differences
Address challenges that require diverse perspectives and collective action
